Endlich eine mechanische Scheibenbremse für Mountainbikes und Fatbikes, die nicht nur top Performance liefert, sondern auch super einfach einzustellen ist. Die TRP Spyke ist ein beidseitig ansteuernder mechanischer Bremssattel – das heißt, beide Bremsbeläge bewegen sich und sorgen so für gleichmäßige und präzise Bremskraft. Das Ergebnis: gleichmäßiger Belagverschleiß und einfaches Nachjustieren, ganz ohne den ganzen Bremssattel zu verschieben. Dank integriertem Einstellrad kannst du die Beläge easy anpassen, während du fährst. Und das alles in einem leichten 169g-Paket (pro Bremssattel), das mit allen gängigen V-Brake-/Linear-Pull-Hebeln kompatibel ist.

Favorite caliper

I got this caliper in all my bikes (enduro/downhill). Works perfect and it's super easy to setup. I don't want to deal with oils or fluids. Would be nice an upgraded version with 4 pistons for one of my downhill bikes front brake, this one works excellent but a little more power would be great. For the rear it's more than perfect. ✌

26" wheel very powerful, 29" front wheel on Mullet E-bike is asking a lot

Impressive overall, correct setup is critical to avoid rotor flex, do notice the barrel adjusters, I preload the arm regardless of what the instructions say. I have one of these on the rear wheel of a 26" commuter bike and it locks the wheel up with ease and minimal hand force. Recently installed one on a 29" front wheel of a Mullet E-bike so it's not shocking that it takes a lot more hand strength to slow down. The spring is hard compared to hydraulic so you're fighting that return spring so more hand fatique over long rides, needs more hand strength which might be decreased by running it on the rear with a longer cable I haven't compared it on the same bike yet. But still worth your while if you prefer not to deal with fluids.!
