Add shifting capabilities to your Hylex brakes! This kit includes the necessary parts to attach Shimano climbing buttons to your Hylex lever bodies, allowing you to run a Di2 drivetrain in conjunction with Hylex full hydraulic brakes. You’ll need to supply the Hylex brakes and Shimano drivetrain and shifter buttons, but the kit includes everything you need to attach the climbing buttons to your Hylex lever bodies including pre-cut hoods

Hylex Di2 Adapter Kit

  • Baseplate and button cover for right and left-hand button setups
  • Pre-cut hoods included
  • RWS 600 shift buttons and drivetrain not included

You will need to purchase the following from shimano:

  • Shimano Ultegra Di-2 R600 Climbing Switch. (Order 2 if you have a 2x system)
  • Shimano E-Tube SM-EW90 A Junction Box (under stem)
  • Shimano E-Tube SM-JC40 Junction Box (near BB)
  • Internal seat tube battery BT-DN110/ External battery SM-BTR1

Recommended E-Tube wire lengths:

  • 950mm from SM-EW90 junction box to SM-JC40 junction box
  • 750mm for second junction box the rear derailleur
  • 750mm for second junction box to internal battery
  • 350mm for second junction box to front derailleur (for 2x system)
