2025 MTB WORLD CUP SEASON — TRP RACE STORY

The 2025 World Cup season was defined by speed, grit, and progression, with TRP riders making their presence felt on podiums across the globe. From Brazil’s heat to Alpine rain, North American forests, and iconic World Cup venues, our athletes delivered breakthrough performances, viral moments, and season-defining results.

It was a year of momentum, depth, and rising talent — and one of TRP’s strongest seasons to date.

Araxá, Brazil

The season opened under the Brazilian sun as Mathis Azzaro claimed TRP’s first podium of 2025 with 3rd in Short Track, setting the tone early.

Bielsko-Biała, Poland

One of the wildest weekends of the year delivered three podiums in brutal conditions: Oisín O’Callaghan (2nd DH), Anna Newkirk (2nd DH), and Jack Moir (2nd EDR).

In front of legendary crowds, Azzaro and rising star Rens Teunissen both secured 2nd place finishes in Elite and U23 XCO — a key moment for TRP’s XC program.

A milestone weekend across disciplines: podiums from Newkirk and junior standout Asa Vermette, strong XC results from Azzaro, and a fastest-of-the-day downhill semifinal run from Andreas Kolb.

Val di Sole, Italy

Scorching heat and elite results. Azzaro took 2nd in Elite XCO, Teunissen claimed a dominant U23 win, while Thibaut Daprelà and Vermette both landed DH podiums.

Val di Fassa, Italy

Enduro specialist Tristan Botteram powered through the Dolomites to a strong 4th place finish.

Pal Arinsal, Andorra

At altitude, TRP showed depth and consistency: Azzaro podiumed in XCC, Martina Berta finished 4th in Women’s XCO, and three TRP riders placed inside the men’s DH top seven.

Mud and chaos set the stage for Andreas Kolb’s standout 3rd place downhill run, with Berta adding another top-five XCO result.

The viral moment of the season. Asa Vermette sent a backflip in qualifying before winning Junior DH, while Teunissen added another U23 podium.

A fitting finale at one of MTB’s most iconic venues. Azzaro and Kolb both finished on the podium, Vermette closed the season with another Junior DH win, and Kelsey Urban delivered her best World Cup result of the year.

POST-SEASON SUCCESS

TRP momentum continued beyond the World Cup:
