Frameworks Racing / TRP Goes 1 and 5 at Redbull Hardline Tasmania

The Frameworks Racing / TRP team traveled across the globe to Tasmania last week to take on one of the most intimidating DH courses in the world at Redbull Hardline. This was Asa's second trip to this venue after a tight second-place finish in 2025, but it was the first year for Aaron Gwin.

Hardline is an event like nothing else during the regular season, as it is a community event as much as it is an all-out race. Riders spent three practice days ticking off each section together until they were ready to take on a full pull of the entire course. With a massive drop just ten feet from the start gate, a motorway section of jumps with gaps ranging from 60-80 feet lip to landing at the finish, and nothing but gnar in between, it's easy to see why these race runs need the extra prep time.

Unfortunately, finals at Red Bull Hardline Tasmania were cancelled after heavy rain on the last day of competition made it unsafe for riders to tackle the massive course features. With no finals, the seeding results from the previous day would count as the final results. Fortunately, Asa put down an amazing seeding lap and had the fastest run by 2 seconds, resulting in the win!!! Aaron Gwin also put on an impressive performance and took home 5th in his first-ever Hardline.
Nothing is given at Hardline, and while both riders would have loved the opportunity to clean up their runs and take more time off the clock on raceday, we are extremely proud of their results and look forward to next year.
